Electronic Waste Recycling Plant Feasibility Analysis

The project aimed to evaluate the viability of setting up a recycling plant in Georgia. The plant was supposed to recycle several categories of electronic waste and sell the by products locally or externally. PMO evaluated all the variable and fixed costs as well as investment costs attributable to the recycling plant and prepared the revenue-cost model showing the project’s feasibility. The prepared document was intended for shaping Extended Producer’s Responsibility (EPR) national strategy for Georgia.

GEO is a non-profit organization supporting introduction of Extended Producer’s Responsibility Principle in Georgia. Project is initiated by the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia to carry out responsibilities taken by EU Association Agreement.
